Qualified ECO4 installers helping UK households reduce energy bills and carbon footprint through government-funded improvements.
The Energy Company Obligation (ECO4) is a government scheme running until 2026, requiring energy suppliers to fund energy efficiency improvements for eligible households across Great Britain.
ECO4 is the fourth phase of the Energy Company Obligation, designed to improve the energy efficiency of homes occupied by low-income and vulnerable households. The scheme focuses on upgrading the worst-performing homes to reduce fuel poverty and carbon emissions.
The primary goals include reducing fuel poverty, improving energy efficiency ratings, lowering carbon emissions, and creating warmer, healthier homes for vulnerable households across Great Britain.
With £4 billion in funding over four years, ECO4 can cover 100% of costs for eligible households, including insulation, heating upgrades, and other energy efficiency measures worth thousands of pounds.
Follow these steps to determine your eligibility and begin your energy efficiency journey
Your home must have an EPC rating of D, E, F, or G. Properties in council tax bands A-D in England, A-E in Scotland, or A-F in Wales may qualify.
You must receive qualifying benefits such as Child Tax Credit, Working Tax Credit, Universal Credit, Pension Credit, Income Support, or ESA/JSA (income-based).
Household income should be below £31,000 annually. Some exceptions apply for households with children under 16 or adults over 60.
A qualified assessor will survey your property to identify suitable energy efficiency measures and confirm eligibility requirements.
Once approved, certified installers will carry out the work at no cost to you, improving your home's energy efficiency and comfort.
Enjoy reduced energy bills, improved comfort, and a new EPC certificate showing your home's improved energy rating.
Save hundreds of pounds annually on heating costs through improved insulation and efficient heating systems.
Better insulation and heating means consistent temperatures and elimination of cold spots throughout your home.
Reduce your carbon footprint and contribute to UK climate goals through improved energy efficiency.
Warmer, drier homes reduce condensation, mold, and health issues related to cold, damp conditions.
Energy efficiency improvements can increase your property's value and marketability.
Eligible households receive improvements at no cost - fully funded by energy suppliers.
